Crawford Block is an addition and renovation to the historic Crawford Block Building located north of Whyte Avenue, adjacent to the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market. 

 

The project consists of 40 micro apartment units that maximize space through compact and efficient planning. Building amenities integrated into the design include two rooftop patios, shared laundry facilities, secure indoor bicycle parking, and additional storage. 

 

Crawford Block blends contemporary elements and historic style to maintain and improve the existing character of the building, while bringing new utility and increased density to this portion of the historic Strathcona neighbourhood.
